Eminem Fires Back at Machine Gun Kelly With a Brutal Response

Eminem had a few more words for  Machine Gun Kelly —and they're brutal. If you've been caught up in  Nicki Minaj and  Cardi B 's mounting drama , time to switch gears to the two rappers who have also been going at each other as of late. Their trouble stems from 2012, when Kelly apparently saw a photo of Eminem's then-teenage daughter. "Ok so I just saw a picture of Eminem's daughter... and I have to say, she is hot as f--k, in the most respectful way possible cuz Em is king," he reportedly tweeted at the time. Well, the 15-time Grammy winner caught wind of his fan's remarks and fired back six years later on his track, "Not Alike," rapping, "And I'm talkin' to you, but you already know who the f--k you are, Kelly/I don't use sublims and sure as f--k don't sneak-diss/But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie." Ariana Grande to Open the 2018 Billboard Music Awards

Who else but Ariana Grande could open the 2018 Billboard Music Awards?
Dick Clark Productions and NBC announced Wednesday that she will give "a show-stopping performance from her upcoming LP," live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Grande first shared the news Tuesday night on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The pop star, whose new single "No Tears Left to Cry" just hit No. 1 on iTunes in 85+ markets, will join previously announced musical acts BTS, Camila Cabello, Dua Lipa and Shawn Mendes. Kelly Clarkson will be hosting the show, which will be broadcast on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT.
Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.
During her interview with Jimmy Fallon, Grande announced the title of her forthcoming album: Sweetener. Set for a summer release, Grande worked with producers ILYA, Savan Kotecha, Max Martin and Pharrell Williams, among others. "It's kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone's life, or somebody else who brings light to your life—sweetening the situation," she said of the album's title. Other songs include "God Is a Woman," "The Light Is Coming," "Raindrops" and "R.E.M." Grande plans to do "something special" on the 20th of each month leading up to her album release date—beginning with her Billboard Music Awards performance.

American Idol Renewed for Second Season on ABC

At long last, ABC finally has a singing competition that's earned itself a second season. After a string of one-and-done competition reality shows graced its airwaves in a quest to launch an American Idol or The Voice of its very own, the network has found success with its revival of the former, revitalizing its Sunday night line-up in the process. And while the new American Idol has yet to completely surpass The Voice in total ratings, it has performed well enough to the network to keep it around for another season with its new judging panel, comprised of Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie , in tact.
