Following creator and star
Roseanne Barr's latest offensive tweets, ABC
decided to cancel their highest rated show (after initially renewing the revival for the 2019-19 TV season).
"Roseanne's
Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our
values, and we have decided to cancel her show," network president
Channing Dungey said in a statement.
